Who can forget the massive impact that the DNA demo had at last years Musik Messe. From our point of view it was one of the biggest stories of the year, even Century. The ability to manipulate discrete audio notes from a polyphonic audio source literally took our breath away. Unsurprisingly, this wave of hysteria led to some extremely high expectations, putting the development team under additional pressure to deliver something truly outstanding, or at least that pretty much works in any environment. Things like the number of supported voices and engine efficiency are all things that gets many people stifling the yawns, but are all important factors in getting this thing into production. We caught up with Carsten Gehle who gave us the lowdown, the road map and some more examples of what this incredible software can do.
