The Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 12 is heading for its last production run and to mark this, Sequential (as they are now known) will be making the last 100, known as the Prophet 12 LE (Limited Edition) with custom arctic white with maple end caps.

The Prophet 12 is an Analog/Digital Hybrid with digital oscillators and analog filters and VCAs. Originally launched in 2013, it was a breakthrough instrument for then named Dave Smith Instruments, the last few Prophet 12 LE will be branded as Sequential. We don't know if this will mean they sound different/better :-).

It’s nice to give the Prophet 12 a proper send-off with this special edition. The P12 was a real milestone for us in terms of pushing the synth envelope. As a hybrid instrument, it gave us a chance to explore the interaction of digital oscillators and analog filters and see how far we could take that idea. It’s still a great instrument and has found its way onto a lot of stages and studios, and into a lot of music. - Dave Smith

In all other aspects, the Prophet 12 LE will be identical to the original adn available in December 2018 at a MAP of $2999. Some original P12s are still available while stocks last.
