You may recall our piece on Pluzilla, the hardware platform for running VST and VSTi plugins on a standalone hardware box. Well if you didn't see here. Manifold Labs had demo stations running at the Steinberg stand also at PSP plugins - the makers of excellent classic studio emulations.
We are excited to show the PSP plug-ins running on Plugzilla, says Joe Waltz, Founder of Manifold Labs, as they are quickly gaining a reputation of excellence for mastering and mixing a perfect match for Plugzilla.
"We've been waiting for an opportunity to exist in best studios in the World", says Antoni Ozynski of Founder PSP, " Plugzilla is a good way to do it."
Indeed, PSP's range includes emulations of some of the classic Lexicon delays with PSP 42, PSP 84. They provide "excellent, truly professional plug-in solutions for tracking, mixing and mastering. PSP products bring analog sound into the digital world"
Plugzilla uses some nifty design to cram a fully functional motherboard with 256Mb of RAM inside running it's own custom operating system to allow loading of VST plugins. The Plugzilla just needs a USB connection to load new plugins and gives front panel editing and operation with v-pots and parameter display. Pop it in the rack for live of studio work without the need to use a computer.
