Guitarists amongst you have probably heard about Faith Guitars, currently kicking up a bit of a stir with their rather nice acoustic models, designed by renowned British luthier Patrick James Eggle. Patick's own guitars are super-gorgeous high end creations, but he designed a more entry-level range for Faith which are built in Indonesia, which still retain many of the characteristics for which his designs are known, but at a more affordable price point.
To complement that range, Faith are introducing a strictly limited edition of new Faith guitars, designed again by Patrick, and manufactured in a specialist workshop in Europe.
The Signature Series comprises 3 models, and will be limited to just 10 examples per model... each one, er.. signed, by him.
We asked Alex Mew of Faith Guitars UK distributer Barnes & Mullins to run through the range for us.
As we finished up, Patrick himself stopped by, so we grabbed a quick video session with him too, talking about the range and more generally about his philosophy of design - all good stuff! Watch out for that second Patrick Eggle video coming up.
