Monome guru Matthew Davidson will be making a series of presentations and performances in the UK next week.

Davidson is a musician, programmer and designer active in the monome community. He has created several monome apps, including polygomé and press cafe. =

Here's Davidson's schedule:

• Wednesday, Sept 23th
  At Musion Academy.
• Thursday, Sept 24th
  At i-Design09. Sometime in the afternoon I'll give a short presentation.
• Saturday, Sept 26th
  At Abandon Normal Devices, Liverpool. Hob nob. Early evening performance.
• Sunday, Sept 27th
  At Expo Leeds Unconference. Presentation on the monome.
• Tuesday, Sept 29th
  At Old Spitalfields Market, where we'll take over a small section and wave monomes at the unsuspecting public and possibly subject them to a performance in the early evening.

The events should be great oportunties to learn about some cutting-edge music technology and see how it can be used.
