Sknote has released the Dyna VST effect which they describe as a channel strip with saturation and dynamic control. Here's all the details from them...
  • Up to 10 IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filters, each one with optional band saturation and dynamic equalization (compression, gating)
  • Each filter can be set to allpass, providing detailed equalization and serial dynamic control (i.e.: full-band-gate -> full-band-compressor -> equalizer -> de-esser -> multiband compressor).
  • "Brackets" mode replaces the EQ with a set of parallel filters (with optional allpass mode), for detailed multiband equalization and parallel dynamic control (i.e.: track-"bracketing" -> multiband-noise-gate -> full-band-compressor -> 2nd-stage-compressor).
