TASCAM has announced the IF-AV/DM and IF-CB/DM interface cards for their DM-3200 and DM-4800 digital consoles, allowing connection to Aviom® and CobraNet® systems over CAT-5 cable. The IF-AV/DM sends up to 16 channels to an A-Net® network, allowing performers to mix their own monitor feed for the best performance. The IF-CB/DM sends 16 channels in and out to CobraNet devices up to 100 meters away.
Both the IF-AV/DM and IF-CB/DM cards help system contractors reduce cost, labor and time when installing large-scale systems.
IF-AV/DM Features:

• 16-channel output to Aviom A-net systems
• CAT-5e cable interface
• 44.1k or 48kHz audio at 24-bit resolution
• Up to 150m signal transmission
• Under 800usec latency
• Stereo linking
• Supports DM-3200 and DM-4800 consoles

IF-CB/DM Features:

• 16 input / 16 output interface to CobraNet networks
• Up to 100m signal transmission over CAT-5 cable interface
• 48kHz/24-bit audio resolution
• Redundant network switches to secondary network if problems occur
• Selectable signal latency of 1.33ms, 2.67ms or 5.33ms
• Bundled CobraNet Discovery application for monitoring and maintenance of CobraNet network interface
• Bundled CobraCAD application for checking network system design
• Supports DM-3200 and DM-4800 consoles
