There I was, all set up with a fancy 2 camera switching system with overlays and the bloomin' internet breaks coz everyone was watching the England football on the BBC iPlayer. So sorry for those who didnt get the full live stream this week, but at least we won eh?
Normal service should be resumed next week...

Some consolation I suppose, but another one is the arrival of a new guest in the form of Gaz Williams - a producer/musician based in Bristol, with a healthy list of credits. On the line, we're joined by Dave Spiers  of GForce software - makers of fine software instruments, and Mark Tinley -sound artist and creative thinker.

We first talk of a brilliant interview piece from yesteryear with synth legend David Vorhaus, then the tin can contact mics spawn a discussion on the use of tatty old gear for that certain sound. We then marvel at the PPG Wave 2.3 on eBay Australia (or not), then we look at Richie Hawtin's amazingly complex setup for a recent gig in Detroit and how we prefer our own setups to be.

Finally, the Soccer World Cup makes an official entrance in the form of the Vuvuzela and how to filter it.

Was really impressed by the cool subtitles and two camera setup and, aside from the stream breaking for a while, it all went very smooth. Looking forward to next week! Pity you didn't have this when Dave brought the ImpOSCar2 controller along...

Hi Nick, how about converting this show into video podcast from show number 200? Now that you have guests in the studio and you have the video streams ongoing live, it would make sense. Plus it would take the show to next level for the next 200 episodes :)
