The Johnny Cash Project

New Collaborative Music Video      28/10/10

Buying Choices

The Johnny Cash Project is an Internet community art project, that any one can participate in, to create a user-generated music video for one of Cash's final songs, Ain't No Grave.

Through the website, you can create an illustration, using an image as a template. Your work can then be combined with art from participants around the world, and integrated into a collective whole: a music video for Ain’t No Grave.

Organizers had this to say about the Project:

Strung together and played in sequence over the song, the portraits will create a moving, ever evolving homage to this beloved musical icon.  What’s more, as new people discover and contribute to the project, this living portrait will continue to transform and grow, so it’s virtually never the same video twice.
