Its no secret that we're fans of the Dreadbox sound, the Erebus just has "it". The raw oscillators are the same in the new four voice poly ABYSS.

Same oscillators, but with more waveforms - constantly variable wave shape, same filter, self resonant, with twin ADSR envelopes, multiple LFOs and three dedicated FX. A tight 1024 stage bucket brigade with modulation covers some intense flanger type sounds, a longer Erebus style delay and a real JMJ style phaser.

We caught up with Yannis, the designer who took us through some of the features. I have to say it sounded awesome.

Available in 45 days, priced at around €1100.
