Flexible Portable Eurorack Systems - Matttech Modular 30/10/15

US A workshop for beginners and verterans alike      09/10/15

Next up we have Ben "DivKid" Wilson's contribution. Designed as a modular drum synth, this machine takes up 6u and gives you a hardcore drum machine.

"When approached by Matt to take part in this event my initial excitement was very selfish! I’ve a big system that’s always growing with my video work and the idea of having a focused smaller case really appeals. My initial entry into music was as a drummer (that’s still a big part of my day to day) so a drum set up suits me perfectly! My approach to the set up has been to fit as many drum modules in as possible, covering more vanilla and more sonically varied. At the same time for it to be self contained it needs a wealth of triggering / sequencing options and also some FX. To show people at the event a range of options I’ve chosen Pamela’s Workout, Grids and the Octocontroller for triggering and modulation. Sounds come  from a foundation of the Mutant Drum series from Hex Inverter and the OWL module offers a wide range of FX possibilities."
