Sonicstate NAMM 2017 Top Chap

Is become something of a tradition that we award a Top Chap award - translated into international language it means all around great person. We had no doubt about this award going to Mr Roger Linn. His industry innovation is legendary, obviously with the invention of the Linn Drum and later the MPC - which as we know spawned many, many derivative products over the years.

Roger also has one of the best voices of anyone we interview, period. He was showing his new version of the Linnstrument, the 128 - a smaller version of the full Linnstrument.
